  Ø Mixing
  Ø Cooking

Utensils used for Measuring

Kitchen scale

Kitchen device used to measure the weight of ingredients and other food. Kitchen scales are available in balance or spring models. A balance scale will give a more accurate reading than a spring scale. Using a scale will result in a more accurate measurement of the ingredients than by measuring it by volume. Scales are available in manual and digital models. The units used may be grams (g) or kilograms (kg).

   Measuring jug

A measuring cup or measuring jug is a kitchen utensil used primarily to measure the volume of liquid or bulk solid cooking ingredients such as flour and sugar, especially for volumes from about 50 ml upwards. The cup will usually have a scale marked in cups and fractions of a cup, and often with fluid measure and weight of a selection of dry foodstuffs.
Measuring cups may be made of plastic, glass, or metal. Transparent (or translucent) cups can be read from an external scale; metal ones only from a scale marked on the inside. Smaller measuring spoons lack a scale and are filled and level to maximum capacity. Its mostly used to measure things such as flour, water, or any type of liquid.

Measuring Spoon
measuring spoon is a spoon used to measure an amount of an ingredient, either liquid or dry, when cooking.Measuring spoons may be made of plastic, metal, and other materials. Cleavers

The cleaver knife is wide-bladed, thick-spine knife that can be used to cut through meat or poultry bones. The cleaver uses its weight to cut through tough food with a chopping motion. The thick, heavy blade on a cleaver is not meant for slicing, but its width makes it ideal for pulverizing meat, or crushing seeds or garlic.

Tomato Knives

The tomato knife is similar to the bread knife except it is smaller and the serrations are finer. The blade will have a serrated edge for easily cutting through tough skin and a forked tip for picking up slices of food.

Ladle

A ladle is a type of serving spoon used for soupstew, or other foods. Although designs vary, a typical ladle has a long handle terminating in a deep bowl, frequently with the bowl oriented at an angle to the handle to facilitate lifting liquid out of a pot or other vessel and conveying it to a bowl. Some ladles involve a point on the side of the basin to allow for finer stream when pouring the liquid; however, this can create difficulty for left handed users, as it is easier to pour towards one's self. Thus, many of these ladles feature such pinches on both sides.

Wooden spoon

A pan of similar dimensions, but with vertical sides and often with a lid, is called a sauté pan or sauté. While a sauté pan can be used like a frying pan, it is designed for lower heat cooking methods, namely sautéing.
